Simple & Neutral
After looking through my images it is likely you’ve noticed a theme. Bright, light, organic, simple and timeless. My images for maternity through babies first year are centered around minimalism with the focus being on the family members and their connection with one another.

Beautiful, Feminine, Boho
Simple & CLASSIC Dresses
Kimonos & Shawls
Styling for Mom:
If you want to style your session with your own beautiful outfits! Dresses are most flattering for new mommas. I suggest dresses that are mostly solid and light in color – white, cream, light blue, light blush. Maxi skirts, sweaters, cardigans, shawls and kimonos are also great options! Adore feminine details: lace, ruffles, embroidery, sheer & chiffon, etc! If you do find a simple pattern just make sure it is not overly busy.
Warning >>> Dark/bright colors don’t photograph as well in my bright white studio space.
Hair / Makeup:
For hair and makeup I recommend whatever makes you feel your best! If you enjoy your hair with waves that’s perfect, if you enjoy it straight, wear it straight and if you like braids or wearing it in a bun, do that! Makeup recommendation is the same, wear your makeup the way you love it most. Since the color palette of outfits and props are light and neutral I would stick with those eyeshadows as well.
SUPER IMPORTANT - NAILS:
I will almost always be placing hands into the pictures. Whether it’s holding your precious bump or holding your precious little one. Your nails will definitely show. So will the guys hands. I highly recommend, natural or neutral nail color. Avoid dark or chipped polish.
Styling for dad:
I currently do not have items for dad to wear, but fear not the men folk are the easiest to style.
Top recommendation is ALWAYS a white button up with khaki pants. Avoid shorts! Avoid cargo pockets!
In the winter, make it a long sleeve. Summer make it a short sleeve. If you want to be extra, roll the sleeves. Dad is DONE!
Please avoid logos or graphics.
Note: If dad wears a super casual crew neck t-shirt, just note that mom might not look right in a fabulous dress next to him, it will look sort of out of place. However if mom wants to do a simple classic dress and wants dad to be in a crew neck white tee, let’s do it! I guess the idea is to appear to be going to the same event together. Everyone is casual, everyone is trendy or the gang is headed to church!
Client Wardrobe for Little Girls
All baby girls have access to my client wardrobe. These items have been purchased just for your little one! These pieces stay in my style closet for all of my sessions. I am constantly adding new pieces to my client wardrobe.
Styling for baby girls and older sister(s)!
Styling a baby girl or older sister(s) will be very similar to styling mom! Avoid logos, graphics and large patterns. Keep colors light and neutral with feminine accents. Timeless fabrics are always great: cotton, linen, lace, chiffon, etc. I recommend keeping the style sweet and feminine without getting too fancy. Baptism, easter or flower girl dresses can be a bit too much and can be distracting.

Styling for baby BOYS and older BROTHER(s)!

Older Brothers: Can never go wrong with khaki pants and a white shirt or henley!
